Hey there guys!
I'm probably going to be trading my basswood Ibanez for an alder Jackson DKMG.
How will my set of calibrated c-pigs sound in an alder guitar as compared to my basswood guitar?
Thanks in advance! :D

c-pig suit alder much better than basswood imo
you are going to love it! 8)

I just had the chance to play a C-Pig bridge and A-Pig set in a USA Soloist and it was unreal. Totally perfect and amazing.

Sounds like I'm in for a treat then!
Another question has popped up...
The DKMG is fitted with EMG's (bleh, gonna pawn em off to someone).
Will I likely need to route the body to fit in CTS pots??

Its not unkown for a hole to need widening to take decent pots, I see it sometimes, but probably not.

Well, one last thing guys...What other BKP's would you suggest for metal tones in an alder guitar?
Also, I like good cleans
The tones I'm looking for are...
For t3h br00talz: Killswitch Engage (End of Heartache/Daylight Dies sound), All That Remains (The Fall Of Ideals), Soilwork (Figure Number Five, Sworn To A Great Divide),
For leads: Dream Theater (Octavarium, and the songs Blind Faith and In The Presence Of Enemies in particular) Between the Buried and Me (Selkies: The Endless Obsession)
Cleans: Anything by Opeth (amazing cleans!) or Cynic
Honestly, I think my pigs can do the job, but I'm just curious :D
