hey, so my SG only has 1 pickup which is a Nailbomb in the bridge position. I still use the 2 allocated knobs for standard Volume and Tone control...but now I have an idea for what to do with the old neck pickup's pots but it's quite complicated so I need some help!
I want the neck pickup's volume and tone control to also work with the bridge pickup, so I can dial in 2 different volume and tone combos and switch between them with the pickup selector. If anyone could provide me with a schematic for this, I will be so thankfull!
Oh and the pickup has 4 conductor wires if that is any help!

Wow! What a brilliant idea - not sure how to do it, or whether it's even possible... but here's hoping someone can do it :D

I think it should be possible! My friend gave me the idea and he seemed to think it was possible anyway...

Good idea - not going to work with the 3 way selector I think though - will have to change it to a 2 way dp/dt on/on type switch
You wil be wiring up the circuit backwards in a way
Pickup direct to centre tag side 1 of switch > to both inputs on volume pots (soldered to opposite end tags)
Outputs from pots back to side 2 of DT/DT switch (end taga again - same orientation as the wires coming from side 1 to the pots and centre tag will be output to jack socket

Brilliant! Thanks for that...I'm gonna hunt for a nice looking DT switch now.
