Title: Zilla Cabs
Post by: Stevepage on September 26, 2009, 06:11:17 PM: These guys any good? Thinking of getting a Fat Boy 2 x 12 cab made and put in either G12k-100's or CL80's.

At the moment I'm pursuing the Orange 2 x 12, but if these Zilla cabs are just as good, I'll go with them.

I had paul tolex a 4x12. corners where a little tatty but overall he did a good job.
i've not seen any zilla cabs specifically but Paul is a gent.

Post by: psy on September 26, 2009, 11:08:07 PM: They're top notch. I had them build me an over sized 2x12". I got it made so it's deep enough to put my rack gear on the top without any over hang. Only took Paul 10 days to make it from scratch too.

Yeah, I had an orange 4x12, but I never got to make a comparison I'm afraid.

Yep, he does. I've been to his workshop, he definitely does it all there.

Yep, he does. I've been to his workshop, he definitely does it all there.

i went to his place that was in acton. i could really tell if he made his own stuff or if there was a lot of dust from sanding down other cabs.
