(http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop_image/uploads/Image/NAMM/danGTsmall.jpg) anyone tried one of these come in mahogany (cherry coloured one), Black (alder) and whitish (swamp ash, maple neck)
-
An old buddy of mine has a Dan Armstrong guitar but it isn't one of those I don't think. It was the one with the pickup on a slide that could be moved back & forth.
-
yeah seen them years ago think hamer did one as well
-
they do have a wonderful headstock ;)
-
*L* they are a pretty guitar need to try one was hoping someone may have already
-
They were in a guitar mag not that long ago, can't remember what one though. Think they said although it was good, was extremely neck heavy, but if you can deal with that, then cool.
I do like the idea of being able to change pickups so easily though!
-
The necks seem really thick where they join the body. Could just be my monitor though.
They're nice.
-
i think that is just down to having 24 frets clear of the body - not something you see often
-
I think you're right.

I like this design so much, I just want the horns a little smaller... and not sure about the wooded version, the plexi had its appeal/history :)

Yes, it's cool... But I'm not decided yet... Feels to me like Zemaitis using Koa on a guitar top, it's known about the pearl and metal tops...
