the 'cooder-caster'.
I know of Ry Cooder but i only learned of this guitar today when looking at loller pickups.
they make a small supro pickup that could be used to do something like this...

I can't see the top picture - is it the Strat where he has some kind of horseshoe-magnet lap steel pickup in the bridge position?

I thought the pickup was in the middle position? I may be wrong as it's been about 20 years since I last saw it.
