				Sheesh!

Did they nick the truck too?????????
-
I see someone else is on the soundsgreat mailing list.

I'd say the transport went walkabout with all that stuff listed. Must be gutted, lets hope they get them back.
-
				sept 29th?
 thats a while ago.
-
How exactly did all this stuff get taken without any kind of interruption?
It looks like they took pretty much the band's entire rig.

Besides which the only things which are obviously traceable are the flight cases, which are marked, so I wouldn't expect them to be heading onto the market anytime soon.
-
The Gibson amp wasn't stolen, they left it I think.

-
Can you put me down for the Goldtop Deluxe please?

I'll look out for it on Seconds Out!

I expect Roo will want the tele, and MDV the Line6 stuff...

OOoo! Just spotted the nut files - I'll have those...

 ======

Like shobet says, looks to me like the truck got driven off.

Mebbe they were all in the kebab shop or something? we nearly lost all our gear like that once years ago - the bloke was just putting the finishing touches to getting into the van when it became apparent to him that the slightly bemused looking, sweat soaked bunch of hairies, all carrying donners and cokes, who were wandering up to him, just maybe had something to do with the van...

He scarpered pretty quick - no real damage done.... (don't let on that the passenger side was actually unlocked - I've never told anyone that )
-
I kinda sussed the truck was nicked, hence my daft post  ;)

Looks like they have lost everything.  I hope someone didn't leave the keys in the fully laded van, they'll be getting a right kicking...
-
I recommend if you getting van that has an immobilizer hidden up in it.

-
Hmmm, nasty. Could be an inside job. That's a lot of stuff that a close eye wasn't being kept on.

-
will their insurance cover that or not?

nasty to lose all that! and I take it that wasn't the last tour date? so did they cancel the tour or use the support bands gear?
-
WOW! Now you can call it loss :o
Hope they can get it back!
-
I heard they left the gear in a lockup overnight then when they checked in the morning the door had been forced.

Protip: don't leave all your gear in a lockup, especially not in Cheetham Hill

why is one of them dressed like a guy from clockwork orange?
i hate leaving gear unchecked. if i can't take at least my guitar into a place where im staying on tour and the van has to be kept loaded, someone usually stays out in it with a baseball bat or something.

I know this is quite common - REM used to take turns sleeping in the van during their early years.

In the US. 12/15th of the people in our van carried a Knife, and we had a machete under the passenger seat.

noah and whale need to learn that flinging man bags and throwing your top shop plimsoles aint gonna deter sh*t!
-
				8/10th surely?

-
				or 4/5th

-
				or did you mean 2/2.5th?

-
				or possibly 1/1.25th?

-
We could be here a while...

-
Are you on mother's ruin again?  :)

-
He may have meant there were 15 in the van and 12 had knives.
 Big van

And I've had no sauce, but plenty of pie and chips.
-
				it was a big van.
I learnt pretty quick that most american i met carried pocket knives.
 hahaha.

to be fair they all came in handy all the time just for general stuff!
like fixing my strap buttoms, cutting tape, opening merch.

we did manage to find a bunch with confederate flags on the side in the south. we got those cos they were funny.
