Title: This Marsha might just be the amp with the perfect rock tone!
Post by: hunter on October 14, 2009, 10:02:29 PM

I think this sounds unbelievably good, especially if I imagine it will sound 3x better in real than through cam:

afaik, Marsha amps are primarily repros of plexi Marshalls with the usual tweaks like master volumes and extra gain stages.  nice amps, not so great a name.

I agree. I was too much of a pussy to mention it first, though.

I've heard better clips of Marsha amps in their defence.  Youtube videos are rarely the best way to judge an amp's tone, but just to get a general idea.  There was a link on the Metroamps forum where they had an amp shootout in a studio - Bogner Rheinhold was there with his amps and they seem to feature a little more heavily than others

Sounds great, perfect for early clapton stuff, but not enough toppy for my tastes.
