While shopping in 30th St Guitars today I picked up a Maestro PS-1A phase shifter:

I pulled that pic of the webs; the unit I purchased looks just like this one, but I haven't taken a pic of mine yet. (Camera died)
They also have Maestro fuzz I really wanted but don't have the extra 400 bones! :banghead:
The sound of this unit is AWESOME! It only has 3 speeds, but they are all usable. It has a captive AC power cord, a physical power button, and a mains fuse (!!), as well as a Molex connector on the back for hooking up to a Maestro remote control footswitch (lol -- this unit is made to be put on a table or mic stand ... it's HUGE!!).

looks really nice would love to hear it. i recently picked up a maestro echoplex- very nice as well. have fun with that !

Ooh nice, rare as rocking horse shite I believe! I've never heard on in the flesh but from the demos I've heard it does sound rather luscious.

How big is big? I like old stuff like this but unfortunately most (probably all) of it is way out of my price range.

Nice! I know nothing about them, but it's appealing in a "cool old stuff" kind of way.

This unit is probably 12"wide by 10" deep by 2" high; it takes up half (or more) of my pedal board on its own!

There's a fascinating article about them, and Maestro in general, here:

Good score.
That Maestro stuff is pretty pricey over here too but it does have serious mojo.

You didn't manage to keep the lock on your wallet and 1 of those pedals got the better of you eh :D
