Hi, has anyone tried a Tayden True Brit 25, if so, how did it sound and how would it compare to a celestion G12M Greenback?
Cheers,

JPF uses them in his amps, could be worth giving him a shout, though I'm sure he'll be along to comment on this thread
-
Yeah think he has some clips as well
-
I've heard that they're great...is this true?
-
i have one and am very happy with it... i have pretty much only ever had greenbacks in my amps and this is very similar, a little tighter inititally but thats only because its the first new (less than 20 years old) speaker i have ever owned

I've used the True Brit and been very pelased with it. It's very similar to a G12M.

The True Brit 25 is reverse engineered from a G12M.
It differs from the Chinese made Celestion G12M in that the motor unit is machined an plated in the UK, and the soft parts (spider, cone etc) are UK made by Kurt Muller, who as I am sure you are all aware where one of the original suppliers of parts to Celestion.
Tayden also wind their own voice coils.
We are having our web-site updated (by a drummer!!) and this will include some sound samples of the True Brit 25.
From my experience with these speakers they do benefit from breaking in.
