Tried this on a couple of forums with no takers but here goes again...
I have one of the discontinued Italia Lusso's, 335 shape in gold sparkle, p90's, 'wigsby' trem, and I think it's a superb guitar. It's got a lovely neck , not too thin and is very responsive to dynamics. The original PU's were very good but I put BKP90's in which are more detailed, and the sounds are great from jangle & twang to blues, jazz and total fuzz.
Anyone else got one o'these, or if not, semi's with P90's ?

great guitars ...just can't get past the white plastic

I got a Reverend Manta Ray which is kinda like a 335 except it just has one "f hole" (or whatever you call it) with Mississippi Queens in and I really like this guitar. I can get both smooth and round as well as biting cleans from it. It's just as lovely when you add some gain. All in all it's a great all rounder when you count out the br00talz.

Them reverend guitars look nice especially the Sensei

The only Reverend I've tried is the one I own and it's seriously a bang-for-buck guitar. I took a chance and bought one through the net, but I haven't been disappointed.
The Sensei does look great. I dig that it kinda looks like something between a SG and a double cutaway LP. Seems like they melted their previously LP and SG models together in the Sensei.
All the Reverends have a bass contour knob and it's actually gives you some good possibilities. Rolled all the way back I can get I bright country tele like tone in bridge position (well at least to my ears).
I bought mine from a German dealer. He sent me the guitar (I live in Denmark) and if I liked it I just had to pay him, if I didn't like it, I could just return it.

[Never bothered me, but first time I played it at a rehearsal with a still drunk/hangover the gold sparkle nearly killed me each time I looked down. I'm used to it now though.
Those Manta Rays with p90's look great, once played a Reverend with 3 p90's and a plastic body (I think) and it sounded really good but was one of the more expensive range like around £800.
Anyone know of Rev. dealers in UK?
