Think I might throw in some BKP Nailbombs in the Ebony 01 Standard. I've heard some great clips of those recently. Has given me the old BKP gas again.

1) Welcome back !  :)

2) Both lovely guitars, but I especially like the character of the Goldtop. Nice to see another happy Laney user too ! I imagine the Goldtop to sound more at home with the 'Lionheart' -  although I do not know if the Goldtop has 'Vintage' pickups as presumed.

Thanks guys  8) I've actually got the hotter of the two sets of PU's in the GT at the moment. Won't mention the winder as not sure if that's really the right thing to do at this forum.

I've looked at BKP's many times but have always been just out of my price range. Like I said, I'd love to try the Nailbombs. Reckon they'd sound fantastic through both amps but the GH would rock really hard me thinks.

I like most clips of Nailbombs I've heard... In deed if/when I get a guitar with a hot pickup, probably would be it!

So, being a UK based forum there would have to be a few guys using Laney amps?

I have not come across many guys on the U.S based forums etc using them. They are just missing that all crucial Marshall logo on the front

Their loss  8)
