Title: Does a Hello Kitty strat warrant any BKP other than the Warpig?

I found some older posts where someone put a Warpig in a Hello Kitty strat, but I was wondering if anyone else has a BKP in a one of these fine instruments. Basically I want this to be my most brutal/heavy sounding guitar, so does that make the Warpig my best option? If so, should I go Ceramic or Alnico? What differences would I notice between the two?

funny enough, i'm planning on putting a VHII in mine!  along with a couple of other mods, which i'll show you all when i get them done :)

VHII does seem the most appropriate choice somehow.

What's the neck like on the Hello Kitty Strat?  Ridiculously skinny?

I tried a Hello Kitty once and found it unremarkable - in the nicest possible way though! I'd say the neck was medium, reasonably entertaining to play - not a bad guitar at all.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect anything amazing!  But so long as the neck's not a toothpick, I'm tempted to get one, just for fun.   :)

You quite often see them in guitar shops, so shouldn't be hard to track one down if you want to be sure

i didn't have the guts to try the hello kitty when one of the local shops here had it. Nor the avril lavigne one. :lol:

If you had tried them both and really, really liked them what would you have done? Would you have queued up with them? would you get a female friend to go and buy them? A bit of a dilemma so probably best you didn't try.  :lol:
