Aren't we all, friend?

heya welcome to the forum!
In the way of all-out metal pups, there's the miracle man, the warpig, and the nailbomb, but of course many other of the pups CAN do metal. when you say yu don't want it bassy, what exactly do yu mean? all of the metal pups have good bass response, but in different ways. What kind of bands do you like? So far I'd be reccommending the Nailbomb to you.[/i]

You want the Nailbomb, it has a very full organic midrange. Not too much bass and clear highs.
We can do 7 string pickups no problem, only in double black unfortunatly. They are the same price as nomal humbuckers.

Nailbomb, hell of a pickup. cleans up when you turn down, great overdrive/crunch, great articulation. Of course putting it the right guitar helps as well.

Steve, in your considered opinion, how does the midrange of the Miracle Man compare to that of the Nailbomb?

The Miracle man has a very smooth mid range, where the Nailbomb is more full.

It's similar to the difference between a vintage 30 midrange and say an old greenback speaker.  Smooth vs throaty
