hey I thought I might upload this for sh*ts and giggles. i bought the line 6 guitar port a while ago and have just got it working.
This is my first ever track and isn't serious, and I havn't actually played in a band before due to me living in the middle of nowhere (Halstock), so bear with some of the out of time playing and basic pentatonic frenzies.
I cant really remember what the settings were, bit they were quite heavy effects wise. The standard drum machine is pretty cr@p, so Im thinking of downloading the metal version.
Any thougts/digs/abuse is welcome
MMM
p.s. my guitars wiring is VERY dodgy to say the least and the un-backed wiring rout looks like a birdsnest and I have to mash my hand inside it every now and again to jiggle the cr@p connections(since I built it myself), Im gonna sort it out at some stage but can't be arsed at the mo.
also at the end of the song a riff knida stops short.... just noticed it as it didn't save properly but cant be arsed to fix it.
now after all the excuses im ready to cringe as I hear it myself online

The volume seems to go up and down a bit. I hope that's not the wiring you're speaking of. Other than that it's good. PDT_003

not bad found a p*** around - I wish P*** arounds sounded like that :D
Seems a pretty cool tone as well!

cool :D what guitar did you use? that was a good clip that showed alot of variety!
it sounds like you over compressed the mix though thats why its wavering.
but thanks for posting! Hey do you think you could make a clean clip using the neck and brigde for me? i am curious to hear the MM clean in the neck.

yea I admit i did use alot of comp, but Im not sure if thats the totally the comp, or just cr@ppy software. Also it doesn't let you layer the final parts of the song so, its hard to get them to fade into each other or a solo to span across multiple parts. which is also why some of the different parts are slightly different volume as I didn't set the levels exactly right on each of the parts for the same guitar bits.
I used a home made, all maple guitar with Ebony FB. Im afraid I only have a MM bridge but Im working one a similar track to NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING track which i shall try and post.
I still have to work out what most of the buttons/functions do so hopefully it should be alot better.
Anyone know how I download preset tones?
thanks

:D Hi Matt if you can download Tones for the guitar port then get onto the Line 6 web site & it`ll tell you how to go about it. if it`s anything like the Podxt then it`s quite straight forward.
