New guy here,first post :)
A couple of hours ago came to my house a good ol'friend with a little "present" for me!
He was holding a little box with some retro dude covering the front, showing off his knuckles..
-Take it,i'm not gonna use it because of some instalation issues(thats another story).
..Oh man i took it without a second thought..i gave him something else of course as a good friend but it was well worth it.:D
Now lets cut to the chase:
Miracle Man is the best hard rock pickup i ever heard,no kidding, period.
I put it on a maple bodied old Kramer Baretta and i was blown away..
Amazing chunky low bass notes, tight with plenty of definition, smooooth highs and amazing tone, this thing has taste,it takes your well defined, higly tuned tone to the next level,at least this is what it did to mine.
Its the dressing on a great salad, this is exactly what it is.
I'm using a Laney AOR series I 30 watter with a Celestion G12L,closed back.
No ODs,no Distortion stompboxes, just a Sonic Stomp for more definition and an MXR 6 band EQ
Cheers Tim,you rock man,i have the hugest smile on earth right now and its all because of your ideas.

:) Nice Kramer. Glad you like your MM & welcome to the forum...
-
Welcome onboard :)
Nice review by the way - short but highly convincing. You almost made me gasing for a MM, and saying I'm not really into ceramic pups is kind of an understatement

Congrats ans welcome to the BKP family
-
rock pickup hmm.. can this thing do proper metal sounds?
-
The MM can do proper metal sounds

My ideal tone is those brown, sizzling sounds of old Van Halen and Motley Crue records.
I dont really like hi gain, way too saturated tones.
I like every hot, organic, tube driven heavy sound where the choice of woods, pickups, strings even the pick itself and of course your hands can make the difference, this is how i tested the Miracle Man.
Like i said it has tone, mostly because of the shape of its midrange.
It can do metal though i'm 100% sure,it has that really tight Anihilator type low end,way better than a JB or a ToneZone.
PS I havent mention that this BKP wasnt my first one,i have tried a NailBomb too on a mahogany bodied Kramer ProAxe but it was like something its missing.Miracle man is a better hard rock pickup according to my ears :D

Do you think pairing a Mule with a Mississippi Queen would be a fruitful combination?
