Title: Confused!
Post by: BenMid on December 10, 2009, 10:44:58 PM
Hi,

I was just wondering if anybody has some sort of diagram to show how the Bare Knuckle pickups relate to each other. Maybe some sort of 'output timeline' or something.

Thanks,
Ben

Hi,

if you look at the product page on the BKP site, the pickups already roughly go from lower output to higher output, reading from top to bottom. Aside from the signature sets.

A frequency response curve for pickups would be nice of course. Still, even that wouldn't give other attributes, like the amount of compression, how fast the bottom end tracks, etc. Well, would be nice anyway.

I'd preffer an EQ diagram.

Lows - Mids - Highs and its output

it's too hard to make a real tone chart... one should install every pickup alternatively in the same guitar, recording them and then making comparisons...

once i did something useless but nice with DCR values, though...

And then install them in a different type of guitar, and repeat the process....

I could take a LONG time.
