Bit of a story to this one folks!
I own Martamp #7, a JTM45 replica, which was the very first JTM/JMP style Marshall amp that Martin built. I know Martin from the very early days of his business, as I was one of his first customers, so this amp has a lot of sentimental value to both him and I:

As a result, it's something that Martin would very much like to buy back and keep for himself if possible.
Fast forward to the end of last week, and Martin's own M45 quarter stack that he sold in August (to raise some cash for the business) came back up for sale. Having played it myself several times, and with it being in the right colour to match my guitars (!), I was tempted to buy it. A conversation with Martin, who is fortunately in a position to be able to buy #7 at the moment, and a three way deal has been done :D
This is my first 'used' Martamp, the first time I've owned Greenback speakers, and a classic sounding/looking JTM45 based rig. Not a bad little Christmas present to myself, and Martin gets one of his very early amps back. A fantastic result all round!
It should be with me at the end of the week, just in time for a rehearsal next Tuesday 8)

 looks great.
Are there any master vol / power scaling controls on these?
-
This one just has a master volume on the back, no power scaling. Nice and simple, plus it sounds great as it is.
Can't wait to get it :D
-
nice colour :D

Looks great to me.
-
was that the one off musicradar?
-
Yep, that's the one :)
Almost had a slight hiccup with the payment, but all is now good and I should get the amp on Wednesday :D

Looks great Dave (but then so does the one Martin's having back). When I have myself sorted I'm going to have to check out Martins amps for sure.
-
The blue looks really great in the flesh, it really stands out!
-
Dave you bar-steward I was watching that on ebay!! Saved my wallet though congrats
-
It was on Ebay? So can I be so unsubtle as to ask how much you got it for Dave?
-
Christ you're going to deafen us!

Yes but the auction didn't run to the end.

The amp was on the Music Radar forum, that's where I saw it. It was there a few days, then the seller put in on eBay. I nipped in and snagged it ;)
I got the whole rig for just under £800, plus shipping on top. Pretty good price I think.....

Cool, sounds like a good deal to me.... and let's face it, no one knows how good Martinns amps are better than you! Congrats.
-
Thanks Don. I know this amp personally anyway, as it was Martin's main amp for a while, so it was an easy decision to make to try and buy it. I didn't want to own two JTM45s, so it worked out perfectly that Martin is having "Number 7" back.
I'm looking forward to cranking it next Tuesday at rehearsal with my Fano JM6 :D

Nice... sounds like it's gonna be a cracker! :D
