That looks like one mean mother f***** of a guitar! Quite strange looking too with neck backleaning bridge pup, the overdimensioned neck and the fanned frets :D
-
Mad and impressive. I think I literally wouldn't know how to play that.
-
Looks great! (not as pink as I expected for some reason, though)
You must be absurdly excited!
-
damn weird. but somehow attractive... in particular i love the look of those twin plugs...
-
badass :D
-
CLIPS or it never happened. :D
Intrigued by the dual jacks there, I'm guessing that's to go into two completely separate rigs?
[Edit] My bad! I didn't see this bit: Still in America though
But my request still stands. I demand that the moment this thing hits the ground, there be a rig and mic set up and ready to go. At the terminal. No dilly-dallying, please.
-
Can't say ive ever been a fan of those style of output jack, but nice to see dual outputs and fanned frets :)

Because it isn't - I posted a picture ages ago of the colour it was based on and it's a touch different.

I don't have a method of recording quality stuff actually  The jacks = piezo and magnetics, piezos sound cr@p through guitar amps, P.A/Keyboard amp = million times better and I've tried that in person.

Why'd you not like locking jacks? I think all guitars should have them.

interesting, but - if my assumption that you don't want to mix piezo and magnetic pickups output - a simple A/B pedal should do the same thing, shouldn't it? but i repeat, the two jacks look definitely good!

See the 3 way switch on the left of the pickup selector... ;) and no, if I had a single jack running to an A/B pedal I'd be grounded to that pedal, this way I can be anywhere on the stage and I can just do it all on my guitar, mags/mix/piezos :)

you've definitely got a point. :)

That's a stunning piece of work, not to my tastes but definitely a head turner. I'm old school though, if it's more complicated than a telecaster then I get confused.
-
Weird, but kinda cool
-
Jeepers.
That's a scary looking geetar.
-
How are you tuning this monster? standard 8 string or are you going charlie hunter on our arses? :P
I'd love to get a fan fret monster like this, but they're not cheap....
-
BEADGBE(Standard 7)High A but all down a semi tone.
Turns out the finish is even better than how I wanted it, check it out at different lighting angles, looks nought like previous pics:

-
Awesome! PU finish?
-
MORE PICTURES!
... Please
-
PU = ?
I only have one other picture and it's very similar to the 2nd to last. I don't have it yet.
-
PU = ?
Poly-Urethane... Forgot that people use "poly" in english
-
really interesting, but definitely more pink than it looked in the previous pics!
-
Absolutely fantastic. I love the colour and the contours :D

Ahhhh, no, I've heard that word before, there was a series of Darkstar skateboard wheels once made out of that stuff =p
This is how it's supposed to look! The previous/redder pics scared me.
And yeah - contours - I didn't realise the carving was that dramatic, I thought it was just a gentle edge, I utterly love it so much, prefer the contours like this!
-
that is a sweet looking cab! anymore info/photos of it?
-
Should have it shipped here in a few weeks, it's going to be run with a Diezel Herbert and here's a close up, that's about all I have of it:
