I find these really interesting because it's the guitar and ONLY the guitar...

You can catch every detail of tone and nuance... and I can TRY to get closer at home.  :? :)

Entwistle was the first bass player that really made me sit up and listen. The things he did with just a basic three chord song were just exquisite and yet he never overplayed and the sound of that Alembic (?) bass is simply superb.
