and best of all I got a: Squeezebox Boom :D

My present to myself won't get here until after new year (hint: there will be a thread in this forum starting with the letter N ;))

But the best gift of all was seeing my children open their presents, play with them, enjoy them and say "thank you" unprompted... :)

Yep I've had it out of the uni library but prefer having my own thing, so I asked for it! Pretty helpful/interesting especially for my final year project. I've actually just applied for a Runner position at your place but I doubt I'll get anything without a show reel (haven't really done any proper compositing stuff until now so don't have much to show for myself just yet). Put in a good word? :P

Shen tends not to get me that much, giving me license to spend a little bit on myself in the new year. I.e. WEber attenuator/new EL34s/cool modulation pedal. Or something.

I've been finding any excuse to use it. I went to Somerfield earlier just to buy loads of fruit and ice cream to make milshakes and smoothies so I could play with it again :lol:
