...he came into my music room this morning, I had "Orchid" by Opeth playing on the CD player & it was during a part with death metal style vocals:
"Daddy, they singing dinosaurs. They going 'raahhh'"
Then a bit later, some more DM vocals. "They singing dinosaurs again Daddy. They raahhring"

You gotta reply
"No son, it's singing Angels ... Angels of Death!"

Hah! Nice one Antag Jr! Bless. :D

And thus "dinosaur metal" was born!

Nah, he was right with the dinosaurs.
(No offence to Opeth in particular. I like Opeth.)

you're obviously not letting him watch enough sesame street.

He sounds wise. I love the way kids of that age express their thoughts. My son, when he was around that age, dropped my cheapo digital watch down the toilet. He said "the numbers swimmed away".

lol that's great

My brother-in-law, as a child, once ran into the house declaring:
"Daddy, daddy - I've broken an ant!"
( He'd trodden on it! )
-
:D So nice!

"Tis vintage dino-metal!"
"NO! It's melodic death-dino!"
"Foolish pagans! Tis dino-metal-core!"
-
