Title: Cold Sweat or a ride on a Mule XD
Post by: Ribboz on December 31, 2009, 08:27:35 PM
Well Ive almost worked it out. Definitely going with a Cold sweat bridge and irish tour middle, now all I need to figure is the neck.

I want you to compare a Cold Sweat neck to a Mule in the neck. Yes probably very different.

See the Mule's description is perfect. The description sounds just like what is needed.

The cold sweat has always held a high reputation, in the neck position. Also it has been compared to a 59 and a jazz. People said it was right in between. Which is something that has had years of use in other guitars. Making me think it would be considerable.

So please do you best to Compare these two pickups :D

mule is bright and woody. i know, it's an abused term like organic, but you can really feel the natural tone of your guitar. CS is middy and round, with creamy lead tones. definitely darker but not dark at all. let's say a middier Pearly Gates (CS) vs a Jazz (Mule).
