Title: MQs doing some classic rock
Post by: Mr. Air on January 04, 2010, 12:21:05 PM
Reverend Manta Ray with MQs doing some classic rock-riffing and a lot of solo noodling with some shamefull attempts at tabbing. Quite sloppy, but I hope you'll enjoy it aneway.

Yes, I liked both the playing and the tone.  You had an authentic Lynyrd Skynyrd / earlier Z.Z. Top vibe and sound going on there.  Also nice to hear what my own ( much loved )  M.Qs would sound like if used for a more robust style of playing.

Thanks for posting !  :)

Something is buzzing for sure. I recorded the track using Amplitube 2 and the JCM800 model. Both the JCM800 and 900 model are pretty buzzing, the latter being the worst, while the other amp models seems a lot more quiet.

I don't know if it's a general thing with Ampliube?. Maybe _tom_ can help answering this as he sometimes too uses Amplitube.

Lastly. Thanks for all the kind comments!

Yeah I find amplitube to be quite noisy as well, the gate only does so much :(
