Anyone going to go and ask the questions we all want answers to?
-
When are Fender buying Gibson?
-
when will gibson employee designers that have both eyes AND taste?
when will the Ralph Lauren collaboration les paul for all the Polo fans come out?
to be honest, id be forced to buy the later. even though i made it up.
-
I must admit Gibson do seem a little mixed up of late.

What's a GAK? :?

What's a GAK? :?
I was thinking the same thing Johnny, some kind of weird acronym for one legged carpet munching something or others perhaps...
But then I suddenly had a flash of inspiration - Guitar Amp and Keyboard maybe? That well known musical outlet?
-
its is indeed guitar amp and keyboard centre

Do they feel that proximity to the jack daniels distillery has impeded your creative endeavours?
And, do you know how funny and pathetic you are now?
Plus, do you realise that sticking 'gibson' on a headstock is not assurance of quality in and of itself; that that must be backed by stringent inspection and high manufacturing tollerances?
Do you think that shifting in marketing tactics from everyman guitarist, the rise of a special few of which carried your company to fame, to collectors and rich hobbyists betrays the roots of your company, guitarists as a whole, the spirit of guitar music, the great musicians that you rode the back of and renders your latest products irrelevent in any meaningfull sense?
Further, do you realise that the newest of gibsons releases are a laughing stock and that the vast majority of guitarists dont take them in the least seiously?
Yeah...I dont really like gibson.
That its a 'gibson owners' Q&A says a lot. I wonder how many of them will ask how they let so many shitebag guitars leave the factory, destined for 1500 quid pricetags.
-
And it is on 7th January but as I have to give blood that night I shan't be going which is a shame as I recently qualified as a Gibson owner.

That's just a rip-off of Stig from D-A-D's mad bass guitar:

What did you get Steve? Humbuckers? You like yes?
-
I like them a lot Johnny- getting used to hb's and the range of tones though my Strat is still No 1 for gigs.
