Hi,
I am new here and I am looking for a simple to follow wiring diagram for my guitar.
It is configured as follows.
Seymour Duncan JB Jnr in neck position
Bareknuckle VHII in the bridge position
A single 500k volume pot.
A LP style 3 way switch.
Thanks
Everytime I try to hook it up I get no sound from the pickups but a constant loud buzz that changes when I touch the input jack.
I think I had it working before i put the scratchplate on as it was not doing that.
I am not sure if some parts are touching when mounted on guitar.
Still i would like a diagram to follow just to be sure.

With no sound AND a buzz - I do wonder if you have the wrong side of the 3 way connected to the hot and the wrong side connected to earth.
No sound sounds like you have a short circuit - killing the signal
A buzz suggests that you have earthed components connected to the live and acting as an antenna for RF noise
Can you show us a photo of the circuitry?

Here's a Duncan diagram for 2 humbuckers, volume and a 3-way.

The VHII should be wired with white/green together (and taped), red to switch and black/bare to ground.
If the two pickups sound out of phase in the middle switch position, swap round the red and black wires on the BKP (or green and black on the Duncan).
