I don't know if anyone is interested but if so, here is a link to a doc that I have watched on the Tube.
This is the first bit about him- they all follow on and you can see the whole 12 sections.

Ooh I was looking at Greeny on Youtub earlier.
Mad as a badger, but that's what Krout LSD does to you.

Great! Thanks for that :D

That was on TV not so long ago - great programme. That's how I finally got into Peter Green...

I started watching last night. Pretty good so far.

Yes, I saw that program too ; a most enjoyable musical and personal profile of a real 'tone meister' - and master of understatement. :)

I really enjoyed that. Thanks.

Great documentary about a great man.
For Beatles fans Howard Goodall did a fantastic program analysing the Fab Four's music from the point of view of music theory. Very interesting and educational.

I saw the Peter Green documentary when it was broadcast and though it as excellent. The Howard Goodall series on 20th century music was also very well done and a worthwhile watch for all music makers. Interesting that Howard discuses avant-garde music at 3:22 (in light of the thread on Derek Bailey). Apparently, throwing tennis balls at a piano is music too

Just finished. Great stuff, must get some of his music.
He does remind me of someone/something else. Not sure what, could be a cartoon sort of thing.

Also, I did rather like the guitar that Jeremy Spencer had on his lap:

I am glad you guys liked it. I don't get to see much tv and had no idea it had been on recently. I have loved Peter's playing for many many years and obviously knew the story but nontheless I enjoyed the show.

I enjoyed that Beatles doc and thanks for the link about Jeremy Spencer's guitar Ian.
