Title: Just to show the softer side of the Apache
Post by: shadoogie on November 20, 2005, 03:38:39 PM
Here's another Shads number recorded today "Cosy" which shows that these Apaches are a really versatile pickup. This was on the neck pickup and again through my EFTP Q20 using a Vox Cambridge 15 D/I'd to the PC.  Cool Edit Pro to record. Backing track courtesy of UBHank

That was superb! I haven't heard that track for more decades than I care to remember  8)  I started playing the guitar because of Hank Marvin's sound, and your track really brought back some nice memories. I wonder, have you ever thought of doing "The Savage"? Hank's Strat on that track sounded like someone hitting a frying pan with a toffee hammer ... It'd be nice to hear how the Apaches would handle that sound.

Great playing and tone...

The amazing thing is that Hank gets that tone with his BRIDGE pickup, me thinks...
