Title: PRS CE24 (Old Factory) with "MannMade" bridge
Post by: Rapture777 on January 16, 2010, 05:38:08 AM
Hey everyone! My first post so sorry if this has been asked already!

I have a PRS CE24 (Body: Maple Top, Mahogany Back) and I installed a "MannMade" one-piece tremolo (good stuff). I think this new trem made it even brighter (it was too bright before).
I'm looking for pickups that will give it more of an even sound (warmer and fuller).  My reference is my Ibanez JS1000 (basswood) as this is almost perfect (I think it needs a little more output and I have to roll the tone knob back a little).  I was thinking a Mo'Jo in the bridge but would like to try something higher quality!

Thanks for your help!  :D

Welcome t the forum

I would agree with the Holydiver for full mids and for once suggest the Nailbomb as the guitar is bright and the NB will give it an even spectrum output IMO

the alnico Warpig is the darkest BKP I've tried (lots of low-mid goodness).  however, it all depends if thats going to fit with your needs (its a bit of a brute).

+1 Ive got a Holydiver set in my Ibanez RG1527 and its full, balanced and clear with just enough power. Very versatile and great split sounds too.
