George seems like a pretty cool guy, but I wouldn't have been surprised if they dropped the guitars and started a circle jerk. I love you George. Oh yeah, I love you too Dave. We're just SO creative. Yeah, right there George.

When I saw what it was I thought oh God, I won't be able to cope with this.... but it was indeed cool.
Interesting what they were saying early on about how difficult it is to dissect a part they wrote. That's something I've always had massive problems with. If I make something up, the fingering and timing just takes care of itself and it sounds OK. But if I try to learn a well-known riff or song, it feels stiff and unnatural... it's almost like trying to put yourself in someone else's brain. Stating the obvious really, I suppose, but interesting to hear it discussed.
I'm not sure I ever believe these guys who insist they can't play a major scale though.... :?

Man, that is nothing compared to the Dave Mustaine interview.

Quite an interesting vid, but did anyone else think both their guitar tones - how shall I put this - kinda sucked?

Lynch was playing through the Zoom pedal which although it is a signature piece of kit - sucks big time

Thank God for that. I thought for a horrible moment it was just me, and that my ears were knackered. :)
