Bruce is so down to earth - great guy!
Amps are pretty damn hot too!

Had a listen and yer he's a intresting bloke to listen too. I like the look of the modular system.  Though when push comes to shove the price may just put me off.

I like the 2 module fx loop extender. That's a great idea. If I had my avenger with a loop id really like that.

with that fx loop box, are you suppose to play a clean channel through it or does it have some fancy switching system for switching out the whole preamp section?

OK - you plug guitar into the E2
You plug the output to the E2 to the return socket on your amp and use the power amp section of your head or combo
This gives you 4 channels of Egnater tone

BUT - you also take two more cables from the back of the E2

One goes into the input of your amp and the other goes into the send socket of your FX loop

This allows you to use the channels of your regular amp as well
So via the footswitch you can choose any of your amps regular channels or any of the 4 Egnater channels if you wish

I can see a lot of turing musicians owning an E2 and using uit with any amp they can hire on the road withan FX loop
Then they can always have their own Egnater sounds - plus any that are usable from the hired amp as a bonus

Interesting, that's actually something a lot of people do with modellers, particularly in line6 circles it's popular to connect a pod kind of 'across' the amp's preamp using the fx loop. Interesting...

I think its pretty neat.

Ive liked the idea of the randall/egnater modular stuff for a while now. just very difficult to find places that stock it.

I like the modular thing but for some reason id be more into having my own amp, plus the fx loop gubbins rather than a totally new amp running modules.
