Hello!
I want to turn my old and worn standart telecaster into a SH tele. Now it has the Piledriver pickup in bridge, and I want a humbucking pickup in the neck position.
The sound I need: full, fat, more vintage than modern (maybe something like vintage hot series?), a bit 'gibsonesque'.
My Fender Standart Telecaster has poplar body and glued in all-maple neck
Thanks!

You will find the Mule is ideal
I had one with a Boss which is the next higest in output for Tele bridge pickups and they matched really well - and it will suit the PD great IMO

Would you consider something P90ish? I have a Tele with a Piledriver bridge and a Mississippi Queen in the neck which is a good combination I think. The MQ is very full and very fat.

Andrew M, I remember your tele. But I would like to have a full humbucker in my tele. I'm thinking over a P90 for my strat. I'll take a note about MQ.
Thanks!

And what would you say about hotter VHII and Emerald neck pups?

Any chance for the Black Dog?
