OK - I just changed my bridge Apache in my JV strat to a Mother's Milk as I have Milks in the neck and middle and use a blender pot to play with neck and bridge at once. I found the neck Milk was drowning the Apache out and decided to go for an all Mother's Milk config.
The JV's basswood body seems to react much better to the Mother's Milks than the Apache.
I love the Apache sound and it now sits in the bridge of my new Mexican 57 Strat. Its great and the alder brings its sound out nicely (or maybe the maple or whatever). This means, however, I crave a calibrated Apache set for the 57.
Can I send the Apache back and have a calibrated neck and middle made up?

Probably just get a reading off the Apache with a multimeter and send that in. :)

you can just order a middle and neck, theres no need to send it back.

To be on the safe side, mail it back and I'll calibrate to it for you but in theory if it is a bridge Apache it should be in the DC6.6K range so you just need the calibrated middle and neck coils made.
