-
sweet drac, you are axemeister of extreme!
-
awesome, drac!
one thing though- i'd change the dark green background, it's virtually impossible to read the writing!
-
Site looks good, navigation is good. Some of the pics are a bit dark.
-
It looks great. I like the green, maybe do the letters in white. I'm not to fond of the grey background. Navigation is good. All the info is there, clear and understandable.
And I'm GAS-ing for that SG.

^yeah, there's nothing wrong with the green, it's just the black doesn't stand out enough!
-
I read the black fine.
You, sir, are one of the most talented luthiers ive ever seen. That "Vorpal Blade", thats just...immense.
Awesome site, you need to jazz it up a lil, you know, add a few more things to the home page, make the title stand out by not using a normal font.
But still, as its early days, good work!
The guitars, now, just...
Woah!
Theyre really quite incredible, i might have to buy one...
-
Lookin' good Drac!
-
Nice one Drac and I speak as a conservative Fender player. I would love to take one of your guitars to Worcester Park British Legion and play them a few quicksteps with one of those!
-
Thanks for yer precious time, mates!
-I'm greener than the website in website authoring-
-it's the most interesting ( to me...) template I could get my hands on to just get SOMETHING up there...using this mac "no-code" W.Y.S.I.W.Y.Get" website software called "Rapidweaver"-
-Will bear all your collective input in mind, and chuffed to spread my wings, and plummet from the nest of oblivion...
-posting some more axepix tonight...
-cheers for the peek, and feedback!- Drac
-
I thought it was a lot better than some more renowned luthiers websites I have seen, I really liked that it was clean and relatively unclustered! It was good to see the guitars do the talking - and what guitars! I mean, they aren't anything like my style but I have to say 'well done'...some very nice axes you have there, Drac!

I have shown it to friends at work and they think it is awesome. Because of the crowd gathering in front of the computer, somebody thought we were watching porno. :)
-
Drac great site and guitars BUT.....
Your pics are...welll...... boll*cks im afraid
you need to make a bit of a studio somewhere with really good light using a load of spotlights and positioning them so you get minimal shadows.
Then set them up in an area like with guns and concrete and heavy metal stufflike that as a back-drop. So It looks really Pro.
Pictures can tell a thousand words so You really need to make sure they are top-notch!!!
The BKP pictures are excellent!!! Im sure they can be a bit more helpfull than I can.
Anyway thats just some helpfull advice.
MMM

They were half right. It's guitar porn. :D
About the pics. Steve, Mr Pig, uses daylight for his pics with fantastic results.

Yup. If you can't afford studio lighting, sunlight is best. If you can't find any sunlight when you need to take the pics, buy a tripod. Anything's better than a built-in flash. Put a sheet down to get a plain background.
You can also get rid of your background in a program like Photoshop, or Photshop Elements, or Paint Shop Pro. Guitars have lots of hard edges and easy lines to cut along.
Thus:
-
the sketches in the Tender Bloggins page-
WHY IS THE NECK ON THAT SIDE??? put the neck on the other side of the body, and it'd be a SWEET axe!
-
sweet site, and sick guitars! it's like the 80's are back with a vengance but without cr@p hair and cr@p tunes lol
do you have a Danish version of the site though? or are the Danes like the Dutch in the sense that they speak English better than we do?
as far as the site is concerned, i wouldn't use frames as its limiting the view of your really nice guitars. i'd just allow the main page to scroll if it were me. having said that its really nice and clear so its easy on the eye.
as somebody else said on here, i would take photos of your guitar somewhere that they really get showed off as they look damn good and are certainly original.
the quote on the repairs page made me laugh. please don't make a clock out of that SG as it looks better than the ESP SG models.
-
indysmith:"put the neck where?!" now I'm intrigued- what are you talking about?
tewboss: That SG is a Gibson SG extreme makeover-I'm seriously into cutting up/Hotrodding factory axes, if they are not something significant, collectible etcetera-
any ideas?
Re: Denmark & the Danes:Everyone speaks English, I can speak Danish, but with an American accent-they pick up on that, & switch to English to impress me- sometimes, I carry on in Danish, they in English, & we speak each others languages to our mutual satisfaction.
Pricelists will be in Danish Kroner/Euros, and any private overseas work will be in the customers currency by default.
100% of my steady income is Danes at the moment-
the website is an attempt to broaden my international horizons, and find the enthusiasts at home-My niche is these wild metal shred machines, and like the metal scene itself, the market is small & scattered...
Has me thinking over prices at any rate, and I'm going to rethink everything to try and get some new designs going on...
Cheers from Drac
-
Picking up on what Matt said, if you know anyone with any swords/axes etc (know any local Black Metal kids?) make it look like an armoury or something, then have various Librium's scattered around, that'd be very metal. ;)

LOOK - IT LOOKS HOT!!!
(check the awesome editing skills too 8) )
-
Nah, neck should be on the other side. Love the design, looks like a mockingbird/SG/explorer hybrid.
-
That was one of several preliminary sketches, and inversions ( flipped the paper over, & traced the reverse design ) I did for WFD-
-ps: I draw stuff for free...If I hit, you might get sucked into an axe...
"Cha-Bling!"-if you don't, I'll make it anyway, and sell it cheap to your neighbor's children.
-hehehehe...
-
any ideas?
it looks like you have enough ideas as it is! if only Gibson put out SG's like that one.
-
ahahaha YAH
he misunderstood the design drac.
ahahahahahahaha
im working on it.
