short version of the story is this...
I have a guitar I've been working on little by little for some time and I've come to the decision that it needs a top!
(quilted maple is my theory but i'm open to ideas)
It's a seven-string ibanez shape without the forearm cut so i have a flat surface to apply a top or veneer to but a google search (at work, on the sly...) hasn't yielded much in the way of useful results so any suggestions for suppliers would be most welcome :)
Thanks
andi

andy prime has a large selction of great maple for tops
is worth sending him an email with your requirements
http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Prime-Timbers
for veneer thickness i ofen use this shop
http://www.anitamarquetry.co.uk/acatalog/index.html
but its worth keeping an eye on ebay for special pieces
