Title: is it any good?...
Post by: andi.j on February 15, 2010, 01:56:11 PM
JACKSON JS30 RR

there's one of there listed on ebay currently at silly low money, does anyone have any expecience of them?
(I've missed my shiny rr5 since i let her go :()

any thoughts welcome, i've not played a cedro body guitar so i don't know if i can expect anything from it so feel free to encourage/discourage me from wasting money on a cheapy indian cedro weapon :)
cheers!

Price on GAK would indicate a pretty low-end axe. But depending on how little you've seen it for on Ebay, might be a good "project" guitar. It's Alder and Maple construction, so at least it's not 12 ply like low-end BC Rich are.

looking at £60ish with postage, a day or so left
should have included that before^^

i know it's not going to be 'good', but may be worth a mess around, paint/p'ups etc

Hi there,

Just want to give my 0,02$.....

Don't buy this guitar it is a waste of money, the quality is really bad, I work in a music store and we sell these.... constant warranty issues. and just as an instrument too, just awfull.

Sorry to be so blunt but thats my opinion.

I have one, but I agree, it was a mistake and it will be tortured into hopefully something at least playable.

:P

cheers guys, if i can get it for around the £100 mark (which i doubt...) i might still go for it but by the sounds of it they're not really worth that much new!

on a purely aesthetic note it is missing the shark-fin inlays - i'll update tonight if i get seduced by the pointyness
