I replaced my Jag pups with BPK92s a couple of years ago and whilst I love them, I want to get it a bit closer to stock and going back to singles.
I've been talking to Tim about rewinding the original Japanese Fender pickups (that are truly awful) and on Monday I sent my old pups for a rewind. Have gone for a Mother's Milk neck wind to get my Frusciante on and Sinner bridge wind for some über-brutalz.
To my joy and delight they were waiting for me when I got home tonight!
Door to door, rewound and back again within the week! Amazing service - only one guitar left without BKPs in it now.
I'll post pics and give my thoughts on them once I've put them in.

So I got my Jaguar back today and I couldn't be happier!
The bridge has plenty of bass and sounds big and fat whilst still retaining that true single coil sound. The neck is just pure awesomeness, so articulate, very mellow.
I got a new CIJ guard off the bay and at the same time, I wanted to get a 3-way selector switch in there as I've never got on with switching pups on the fly with the stock ones. The remaining slider switch by the 3-way puts the pickups in or out of phase.
Anyway, without further ado here are some before and after pics...:

Very nice - I love the look of Jags!
Would be good to hear some clips!

That looks awesome and a big +1 on wanting to hear what they sound like. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Me too-I bet the tone is great.

Thanks guys - I'll try to do some clips, but not really got much in the way of recording equipment.
