I just wanted to ask if there is anyone on the board using one of these and if so what's their opinion of them?

Looks like it will cover pretty much all bases, I'm looking to upgrade my BCB60 later this year. How much are they?
-
About £230 according to the interwebs (http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=SKB+Stagefive).
-
Ah cheers. Still, with everything it comes with it looks good to me.

My opinion on this is, that it shows which guy is man enough to build his own pedal board and who needs to buy an overpriced pre-made one. 8)
Sorry, that was a bit harsh. But you could still get a cheap Stagg pedalcase for 30£, add an Harley Benton Powerplant (another 30£ or so) and wire it up yourself... for a fraction of the price of the SKB.

Normally I'd have just called you a great big
(http://www.newlandgrange.com/userimages/blackjersey01.jpg)
and left it at that, but I think I'll grace you with an answer as you seem a bit simple and might not get the picture, pun intended.
Yes I'm perfectly aware of all the myriad options that are available when it comes to various boards and power supplies. I applaud you and your manly board making powers. I'll just assume you were clever enough to build a buffer, cable tester, polarity switching and all the other extras that come on the board I've asked about into your pedal board of doom. Does it also make the tea?
However your response doesn't have any bearing to the question I asked so it's pretty much just noise. I'll just ignore you and pretend you didn't say anything. ;)
All the above should be taken with a pinch of salt, as if I really meant to insult you, I would have.

had a serious look at that, overpriced, I came to the conclusion the best value and practical option for a similar size is a 'gator pedal tote with or without it's power brick'. Check it out.
-
The c--k would still recommend getting a cheaper pedal case and a power source. If you need a really good power source, T-Rex and Ciok make good ones.
However, the Harley Benton is mostly a T-Rex Rip-off. It's only hum problem is when you use the AC 12Volt outlet at the same time as the other ones.

Power isn't an issue as I already have a board powered by a Rothwell stomp juice. I've seen this on several people who's boards and sounds I liked and just wanted to see if anyone here has used one.
The gigrig stuff had crossed my mind as well as I've a few non mains powered fuzzes and some other odd stuff.

Shobet you just can't refrain from posting another picture of a c--k can you.
Has your phone broken? I was trying to speak to you

Yes it's tw@tted and I shall be purchasing a shiny new one to ignore you with. No more Nokias in this house though.

I just wanted you to know

Careful if you stomp hard, i think the way the board is made with the gaps for cables and shiz flex a bit when you stomp them
