Title: Buying a guitar for mods

I'm selling my fret eclat standard I'm after something that is more disposable. Something that can be thrashed around abit without worry.

Aswell they have to be good for modding.

Heres the two I'v though of already.

Yamaha pacifica 112v. What is the routing under the scratchplate on this? Is it ready for buckers or will I need to route myself??

or

Ibanez rg321 or rga32. Look great for the money and already have two buckers.

Any thoughts or experiences??

I have an RGA7321 - and if the quality of the 321 is up to that then its a really good guitar for modding, got a pair of NB's in mine and it is my sole guitar atm.

I'm pretty sure the Yam 112v has one big cavity under the scratchplate. So you can easily drop in some humbuckers.

I don't think the spacing between bridge posts is standard on the Pacifica.
May not be an issue for you unless you are changing the trem

this value for money agile would be ideal for mods of both kinds

Not to into the agile.

Once my guitar has sold...or maybe if my guitar sells I'll be buying one. I'v got some cool switching ideas and filters things that I'd like to try. So a big cavity is good :)

But I post about all that when the ball is rolling.
