probably the best idea to come along in a long time no more drilling into my les pauls!

That's neat. I've got the flat-top version for use with a B5/B50, but (as AndyR will have guessed) I haven't gotten round to installing it yet.

It sounds like something Afghan would be showing to his less morally fussy partners.

He has more morally fussy partners?

You're all my Vibra mates...

Now I'm worried you have a collection of vibrating dolls with our avatars stuck on the faces (or maybe just one doll with lots of double-stick tape and spare printouts)

Why haven't you got round to installing it yet Philly?
At this rate I'll have decided I do want one after all before you get it out of its box...

To be fair, I have taken it out of the box.
Then put it back again.
I'm waiting until I break a string so I can justify the hassle....

Oh it's not just me then (finding it hard to comprehend the Philly Q patience and restraint)
If I take delivery of something like this, I have to have the guitar in pieces immediately... even if we're meant to be doing something else in 20 minutes and I don't really have the right tools to hand at that precise moment...

For me it's more like... I need at least a week off, with absolutely no distractions whatsoever (not even something coming in the post, it'll prey on my mind too much until it arrives). Then I might do it.
I am quite patient, but that's not the reason. I get interested in buying things, I'll think "I must have that", but once it's actually in my possession it's there to be used at leisure. And I have a genetic predisposition to procrastination. When I was a kid and I needed my dad to sign a form or something, he would do it at absolutely the last minute - I used to get sent off to university with a blank cheque just in case it turned out the local authority hadn't paid my fees in time.

Recently a few people here said LP's look wrong with a Bigsby. I totally disagree. Behold one of the coolest guitars on the planet. Neil Young's "Old Black".

Don't worry, over on HRI there's a guy who bought a SLO-100 in January and has it sitting there since, waiting for it to be fired up and played for the first time.

That's comforting. I think even I might've managed to plug something in and switch it on after 3 months!
