Title: Hufschmid Now Offering BKP's On His Guitars!
Post by: Trev420 on March 21, 2010, 01:23:46 AM
I don't know how many of you are familiar with the guitars of Luthier Patrick Hufschmid but definately check his website out if you aren't. He has just recently started offering BKP's on his guitars and I think this is a great addition to his custom made Kent Armstrong p'ups.

They look nice - definite Black Machine vibe to them...

Whilst there are similarities between Patrick's build style and Doug's, when it comes down to specs they're really quite different guitars. Checkout this baritone 8 string tele he did,  :

The body is figured Sipo with a Zebrano top and the Neck is 200 year old termite attacked Walnut with a  0" Bloodwood fingerboard. Gorgeous instrument.

The body of that looks nice. Anything with more than 6 strings* leaves me cold - the necks look ridiculous!

*12 strings are fine.
