Does anyone know what the output is on these as the specs aren't detailed on the product page?

Also I've noticed the 55 bridge has a copper plate and the 50 has a zinc plate-what difference would this have on the tone?

My Flat 50 bridge pickup has an an output of 7K. For a comparison of the two types I'd suggest listening to the Roy Fulton demos in the Players section of the forum.

Thanks for that,I assumed it was a bit higher to be honest, presuming the 55 to be a bit lower.I've seen Roy's demos on you tube(fantastic playing too)and they give a great insight into the tones of the two(the vintage guitars look great for the price as well)

I think my 50's are about 4.9 and 7K for the neck and bridge respectively.

Some infos and links about the 50s here:

IIRC my 50s are indeed 5K / 7.1k, but I'll have to check.
Can't tell about the 55s - but searching the forum may yield some results.
