Hey, Can you reccommend me some pickups for an 1989 Charvel 375 Deluxe, it has a S S H configuration. The body wood is Maple top and back, and Ash if I remember.
Im mostly looking for the Neck single coil, and a humbucker for the Bridge position.
The sound im looking for is modern thrash metal, with screaming warm leads.
The amp I have is an Engl Fireball 100.
Thanks in advance.

anybody?

Christ, keep your knickers on petal. You're already chasing us 38 minutes after your original question. Excuse us for having lives on a Sunday!
The body I suspect is alder and not ash, and you have the optional maple top and back. Is it a rosewood or the maple fingerboard?
-
Sorry about that.. haha.
I've been told that its Ash, and that the Solid colour versions are all basswood. I can't find much information on these guitars.
Its a rosewood fretboard.

You'll find catalogue scans on Henrick's site for the guitar, http://audiozone.dk/ I think it may be the 92ish one.

I found this one, but it doesnt mention the body wood at all.

You have a few options depending on what you tune to, but my recommendation would probably be a Miracle Man bridge with a Sinner neck.
-
It would either be Standard or D-standard :)
-
Great, MM would definitely work. You might want to consider the ceramic Warpig too.
-
Wouldn't that sound too harsh? as some people say theyre a bit too much :p:
-
Hmm, the c-pig isn't harsh, but it's certainly a brutal little f***er
-
Thats what I like to hear :D
Should compliment my Fireball too.
You said a Sinner in the neck too? Would that buzz a lot or not? :)
-
Well, you're always going to get hum with a single coil, but in my experiences the BKP singles tend to be quieter than most. If you run a noise gate it's something you will barely notice I'm sure.
-
The C-Pig is thick and massive sounding with a prominent mid range grind, not harsh. It is most definately more of a death metal pickup than a thrash pickup so the miracle man might work better for what you want but the pig will definately do the "screaming warm leads" with a very thick, grindy, and brutal rythm tone.

modern thrash + warm leads = miracle man
it's the only pickup I've heard that sounds bigger and more open the louder you play
maybe Tim hid some tubes within its bobbins
-
 So Miracle Man in the bridge, but isnt the Sinner bridge only for single buying? http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_42&products_id=83 (http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_42&products_id=83)
I don't want to buy the whole set for no reason.

Odd, I bought a MM and Sinner combo about a month ago.. Maybe worth emailing Tim to see what the deal with the Sinner neck is and how to order one.
