Fender tele, maple, Blackguard f50 bridge, clean . Engl screamer 50
trusty yamaha keyboard backing . Recorded on tascam drd2 between amp & keys using built in mics

Yep, thats great. Nice tele sound and great playing.
-
I really like that. Plenty of spank there and lovely playing. Sounds great.

Nice playing man! Very Brad Paisley-esk and for me to say that is sayin somethin big cuz i love that man! But rock on dude! This is a perfect clip for anyone lookin for a clip of the Blackguard flat 50's! Nice spank and even a bit of bottom end but then just twang and spank =) real nice stuff man! Cheers! =)

First class playing, love it

Thanks everyone,
thisisnickpaige i first read your comment as very bad 'paisley esk' and was inclined to agree  no ones heard of him over hear but his playing rocks(not so keen on his music)
ANYONE interested in this style should check out doug seven on youtube, phenominal player but his cd courses
are the best guitar instruction i've ever come accross,he really opens this style up

My dear chap that was great stuff- I loved that. You play well.
-
thank you 38th, especially as you recommended the Tascam field recorders in my recording for dummies thread,
the drd2 is perfect for me :D
-
Pls include pickup in the thread title!!

Playing and tone are at least as good as your backing track is bad *LOL
But I loved that - you play well clean, not many can do that!
-
thanks denim & leather for modification, your'e quite right.
Hunter your quite right also regarding the backing, it's almost embarrasing in view of what's available today, it's
just what i've always used for practice! Not only that but all pantomine starting it then pressing record and coming
in a bar late , i've much to learn.glad you approved of the playing though, it's more important to me.

Excellent stuff.
I'm fitting the BG'50's into my Baja Tele tomorrow. I hope it sounds as good as yours.
I also loved your Irish Tour clips. I have them in my oly white partscaster.
-
thanks clyde, good look with your BG's. I understand the baja has v.good pups , but i've not heard them myself. don't worry if the bg's (bridge) sound a little harsh in comparison, they're full of character and that bite is precisely
what makes them.by the way on this clip the tone on my tele was full open(not even the capacitor on the pup engaged...deltatone) and my amp's bright, but this is needed for twang and definition in the E and A strings.

Great playing, it has a bit of a JJ cale Call me the breeze vibe to it, but like Albert Lee was playing it.
Good work :D

Wow thats a shame no one has heard about him! Well most country music will never leave american lol or the south for that matter but man i love Brad Paisley. His songs are super funny, the lyrics are witty and clever and his tone is phenomenal, playing outstanding! Check out his instrumental album called " Play: the guitar album " its really good! Just mind blowing as always =)
