He may be a big old chunker, but he can play that thing.

He is indeed a fine player.I have an album by him and his playing is amazing.

Great player - very versatile too.

A bit OTP sometimes, but WOW, man, great guitar lesson. Thanks for sharing.

Sigh...same old pentatonics...
Anyway, is it some king of hormonal thing with him? I know he's got that unfortunate eye condition, but surely it's not related. He just gets bigger and bigger, poor lad.

Glad you posted this choucas, i wanted to post something by him too, he does a lovely rendition of mercury blues on youtube somewhere.
I love his story, trailer park kid, half blind but with a loving father who always let him believe he was just fine, even allowing him to drive the car fast in the backroads as a kid.
his playing is stunning both musically and feel wise, and his ability to do polyrhythmic phrases in a seamless bit of improvising makes my jaw drop. he"s a master of the hot country style as well as rock and jazzy blues and one of a handful of players than can effortlessly mix 'em up.just thinking about it now, i don't know of a better player.
good for you jonny, my scalp tingles listenin' ya. thanks choucas

Fine playing there. His name used to crop up at the LGS a bit in the past. I've seen him noodling on some of the stands there but didn't realise he was this good.
