Does anyone know any where that do capo's with a name engraved on it? Or do you think it'd be safe to the places that engrave dog tags & cut keys engrave a name on to one?
It's a friend's birthday coming up & I think it'd make a nice gift. :)

I imagine any decent engraver's would be able to handle it.
Best thing to do would be to consult with them with the relevant dimensions and spelling to hand I should think.

Yeah, I'd just take it to an engraver.

Cool, I'll do that. Any recommendations for a capo's for acoustic guitars? I use the G7th Performance capo myself, but it's got a a curved satin finish & that might end in tears trying to engrave that.

I've recently converted to Shubb.
I remember when they came out and I was a bit snooty about them - what a lot of blah, etc...
But now I've just eradicated 20-odd years of capo woe. Boy, was I wrong... they are FAB (I'm gonna get another for vintage radius boards as well)

+1 on the Shubb, simple and totally effective.

I've got a Shubb, no issues at all.

I always used a Kyser capo, but I always had to retune when using it. I've since moved to a G7 which has no problems in that respect. Go with the G7, they're the best.

I have a Shubb-simple and efficient.
