We don't usually get threads about football results!
Were you there?
No, forget that, you couldn't be home already.

I did have one but I had to let it go as I'm off work with a virus. I did go to Wembley on Sunday but I don't like to talk about it!

You've had an excellent season, it would be good to see you finish strongly.
(And it'll help make 100% sure Liverpool aren't in the Champions League next season! )

Have look at this goal!!

That is great. My Mum will be very happy about that and a guy at work will be very unhappy. I am not into football that much but because of my Mum, I kinda like Spurs winning- and West Ham as my Dad supports them.
-
Your Mum likes Spurs and your Dad likes West Ham. That's a very odd mix!!
I'm West Ham as is the majority of my family. This season has been pretty sh!t for us!
-
i was never that into football til i started doing the fantasy league in work.
Burscough FC is THE team. ok, maybe not.
-
Spurs have had a fantastic season, too bad losing out to Portsmouth at the weekend though. I do hope that they can finish in the top 4 or at least top 5.
I also hope that we can steal Robbie Keane for a bit longer too, as our season up here has been dreadful

Odd in more ways than one. They divorced more than 20 years ago. It wasn't over football though. The significance of any "special" rivalries or bad feeling passes me by. Dad was from East London, Mum's folks from North London though she was also born in East London so that was the reason.

Not a Blue nose are you Philly?

Not at all, though I do admire Moyes for what he achieves on a budget.
I just can't stand Stevie "Roy of the Rovers" Me with his chips on both shoulders and narky little scrunched up face.
And I really wanted Benitez to have to eat his "guarantee" of fourth place.
-
Moysey is a hero. I chuffin hate the red shitee.
I don't think we'll have him too much longer. It would definately be worth a £10 bet that he's at United after Baconface retires.
-
If he does ever retire!

Yeah, he'd be good as our reserve team manager :D

Another great result for Spurs today!

I know, I can't quite believe it! Great stuff MOTD should be good for us Spurs fans tonight! :D :D :D
-
A win at Old Trafford next week would just be the icing on the cake for you.
-
I am quite pleased as it has p*ssed off our drummer who is a Liverpool fan ( you know that well known Sussex team) so it has to be good.

Is he a pain?Liverpool seems a odd choice of team fro your neck of the woods.
Drummers are strange. I spoke to the drummer in the band I'm in on Saturday and he wants to drop the sax player. The Sax player and myself were the ones who put the ads out and got this thing going in the first place. He's a gooner so I shouldn't be surprised!

What is the "usual profile" of Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and West Ham's supporters, from english point of view???
Congrats on the victories! I'm not following close the Premier League this year, it's been showed on TV while I'm arriving home :? D Spurs can get high on the table?
-
Spurs can get high on the table?
They're currently in 4th place, 2 points ahead of Manchester City, with 4 games to go.
-
And alot away from the first 3... Just saw it...
Well, hope you can make the end of the championship cooler beating Man Unt... I like fuzzy championships
-
Fingers crossed Fernando! It's Spurs best season for years.
Profiles of Chelsea, Arsenal and Man u fans are, that most of them are 'Johnny Come Latelys' or turncoats and never go to any of their matches.
As for the rest of the clubs the fans have a lot more integrity.
All the clubs in London hate Spurs. The more scorn they pour on, the more we love it. Or to put it Milwall's way 'Nobody likes us and we don't care' :D
-
For the sake of my old Mum- a Spurs fan all her life, I hope they do well. Sadly I can't say the same for my Dad's team ( West Ham).
-
Unlucky for Spurs today but great result for us
Still fancy Spurs for 4th Spot though, although like us, Spurs have to rely on their fierce rivals to do them a favour later today.
It's all very exciting :D

yes it's a bit of a nailbiting end of season. Oh well you can't win them all.
-
At least City didn't win, looks like it will come down to the bif Man C v Spurs playoff game.
Saying that City have got to play Villa as well so for 4th I think Spurs must be favorites

Knowing Spurs they will blow it! Being a Spurs fan is like following England in the World Cup! Mind you years ago they were awful, a bit like Scotland!
