well.. most of that will polish out, since it's just scratches in the clear.. but what kind of idiot do you have to be, to do that, stand back and say.. yeah.. that looks GOOD!

I didn't think it looked too bad in the first pic, but then I looked at the others and realised he's just scr@ped at bits of it with some coarse paper without even removing the tuners or other hardware.  Cretin.

The biggest joke about that is the price.  $995?  Who are they kidding?

I can understand removing the shine with some 0000 Wire Wool, but that's just been attacked with a roll of emery.

I sanded my Puirates of the Carribean Epiphone Les Paul back to the wood, chiseled celtic style runs channels through the wood then filled them with yellow paint. Painted the rest matte black and installed a BKP Cold Sweat in the bridge.

I get comments that it is the best sounding ugly guitar ever.
I love it.

However doing that to a Gibson Les Paul is just f**king stupid.

The only good thing about that is that the wood between the neck and pickups has been left alone. Other than that what a total moron. It's not even a Fender!
