Title: BKP's in Ibanez 2228 8 String?

I just ventured into 8 string territory & bought an Ibanez Prestige RG2228.  :D

I fitted Warpigs to my Basswood bodied Herc Fede DNA Jem replica & loved the result.  :P

Was contemplating going the same route with the RG2228 as it also has a Basswood body?

Anyone fitted them to this Guitar?

Also will they fit the hole OK?

The 2 low strings are tuned to B & F# & I am unlikely to change that.

I wouldnt recommend it. I dount the a-pig has the definition for an f#

Miracle man, cold sweat, ceramic nailbomb, painkiller and c-pig all should though.

I confirm. A-pig has great mid tone (my fav' for old-school-death-metal) but forget it for very low-tuning (under B I mean). Painkillers (so brutal, so organic, so metal)!!!!

PIckups Pots & Cap arrived today so plan to fit them!
