Title: who designs ugly guitars?

Surely someone in the company would go "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!! THAT'S FREAKING HORRIBLE!!!"

Have you ever looked at the ESP signature models for Japanese artists? NASTY.

ESP runs a guitar building academy and every month in Young Guitar magazine they show a picture of someones creation. That's some of the most horriblist shite you could ever imagine :lol:

I guess that's what they call "steampunk"?

I actually like all those J-Rock signature models. But I don't see them as guitars, really, more as works of art to be hung on a wall.

I quite like that steam-punk thingamy, otherwise the pointy guitars just look as good/bad as any other pointy guitar does to me...

I like the bevels on that Rhoads like guitar but I agree the steps in the outline spoil it

I do like the paintwork on this though - very clever use of colour and Vreeble/crackle paint
