Title: NPD: Mississipi Queen Neck :D
Post by: Transcend on May 10, 2010, 08:13:58 PM
WOW!!! is the first thing that comes to mind.

Really crisp, clear and transparent clean tone, Can be very acousticy/woody and has that single coil twang really excels in this department.

Under gain it can go from a great bluesy overdrive up to really high gain whilst still retaining clarity, really thick lead tones, very smooth and flows, excellent for legato & tapped runs.

Oh yeah this is the neck pickup that i am talking about here.

Overall 10/10
There is one minor niggle but its because i arent used to non hum cancelling pickups and that is the hum but if im far enough from the amp this isn't a problem and also as soon as i start playing its completely un noticeable and i can just bask in the awesome tones.

For anyone looking for any of the above that i have described in a pickup i highly recommend this one.

I shall post pics of it in the rga with the MM and also some clips once i decide what i want to record.

Thanks to Tim and the rest of the crew at BKP for another awesome product.

Oh yeah thanks for the sticker, I have to figure out where to put this too....

I have a MQ neck and I agree with everything. It also blends well with the NB bridge for awesome cleans.  :D
